To get to the Gathering site from Richmond/Petersburg:

Take your best route to the junction of I-295 and US-460 EAST.

Go EAST on US 460 approximately 30 miles to Ivor.

Just past the light in Ivor, turn LEFT onto Broadwater Road, Route 620.

Go 5 miles. Turn RIGHT onto Beale Place Drive, Route 646. (Landmark: About
1/2 mile before you need to turn,  you will cross over a small bridge.)

Go 1 mile. At the fork, bear LEFT onto Whispering Pines Trail, Route 650.

Go 7/10 of a mile. The camp entrance is on your LEFT.
 

To get to the Gathering site from Norfolk/Va Beach:

264W to  664N.  Stay to right taking the 460/58 Suffolk exit.

Follow 460/58W

Do not take the Suffolk Business exit.

Take the 460/Petersburg exit, turn right at bottom. 

Follow 460W through Windsor. 

Three miles down turn right onto Yellow Hammer. 

Yellow Hammer joins with Fire Tower Rd. 

Turn left onto Beale Place Dr. 

At 'Y' turn right onto Whispering Pines Trail. 

Campground is seven-tenths of a mile on left.

To get to the Gathering site from Hampton/Newport News

Rt 17 to 258S across the James River Bridge. 

Turn right at second light. 

Turn right at 'T', this is Benn's Church. 

Stay on Truck route  do NOT use Business Route. 

At 4th light turn left. 

You are still on 258S. 

Pass Isle of Wight Courthouse. 

Watch for 644-Fire Tower Rd.  Turn right onto 644. 

After you cross the narrow bridge turn right onto Beale Place Dr.  At 'Y' turn right onto Whispering Pines Trail. 

The campground is seven-tenths of a mile on left.


To get to the Gathering site from South of the VA Border

Take I-95 North ot Virginia.

Take EXIT #31 in Virginia, toward Waverly, Hwy 40 East.

Stay on HWY 40 about 21 miles.

Turn RIGHTon US 460.

So EAST on US 460 about 14 miles to Ivor.

Just past the light in Ivor, turn LEFT onto Broadwater Road, Route 620.

Go 5 miles.  Turn RIGHT onto Beale Place Drive, Route 646.  (Landmark:  About 1/2 mile before you turn you will cross over a small bridge.)

Go 1 mile.  At the fork, bear LEFT onto Whispering Pines Trail, Route 650.
