I went to the grocery store last night to find out that my VISA check card didn't work.  The next morning, I called the bank to be told that Damark Rewards charged my account $149.99.  In addition, I was charged two bounced check fees.  I have never even heard of Damark Rewards.  My husband and I never received ANYTHING from these people.  I'm still trying to figure out what the reward actually is because I never even knew it existed.  I spoke to several people to try to get my money back immediately.  Of course you know how that goes.  They said they were a call center and had no way of contacting consumer affairs.  I called back later to make sure they got my fax with my bank statement and I was told that I was also charged $80.99 last year.

I about flipped out when I heard this.  She said she wouldn't refund that because the time has already passed.  She then told me that I should have checked my bank statement to catch it.  So basically, they don't send you an invoice, they don't send you magazines, they don't send you any correspondence.  So if you miss it in your statement, your out of luck.  So here I am, on a holiday weekend without a dime in the bank and unable to get food in the house until my husband gets paid next Tuesday.  That's customer service.  These people should be put out of business.  My husband purchased a table from them several years ago and we haven't heard from them since.
