I have a Compaq Presario 900Z notebook.  I bought my computer for school.  I am a student, therefore, I do not have money to just throw around.  My computer has NEVER worked correctly since the day that I have gotten it and I am not even able to use it half of the time.  I basically just gave Compaq $1200 for a computer that probably cost about $5 to make.  I bought a brand new computer expecting it to work.  I have only had my computer for 6 months and have sent it back three times.  I now have to send it back again after just receiving it back from them three days ago.

I am a Senior at a major univeristy majoring in MIS, which is in the Information Technology field.  One of my job requirements will be referring computers to either individuals or major companies.  I WILL NOT ever recommend this computer to anyone.  I have sent a letter stating that I will contact the Better Business Bureau (which I am doing tomorrow) along with an attorney if my computer is not replaced or fixed correctly.  Since Compaq cannot seem to understand that I am serious, I will make them pay for it in the long run.  

Problems with my computer:

1)  Will not turn on sometimes--just shows a black screen.

2)  Sometimes only the Compaq screen comes on and I have to press Esc to get it to boot up.

3)  My computer will make a loud constant beeping noise sometimes when I try to turn it on and it will not boot up.

4)  My computer screen or menu's will quiver on the screen and will not stop.

5)  While working in a document/program, the cursor will go backwards until it reaches the top and will type everything backwards when I try to type.

6)  After sending my computer back to get fixed, I received a letter with it saying that they fixed it 10 times.  There is no way they fixed it 10 times because each time it booted up it said "INVALID BOOT".

7)  My touch pad will not work sometimes, but will others.
 

I've come to the conclusion that my computer is being fixed by the same idiots that made it, which is the reason why it is not being fixed correctly.  If they cannot fix it, then they should stand by their product and send me a new one or give me my money back so that I can buy another brand that does work.

In my opinion, COMPAQ AND HEWLETT PACKARD SUCKS.
