I know
of 2 people who have bought new Compaq computers through this co. and had
a major problem. The hard drive crashed in less then 2 months after being
purchased.
The company
itself was good. In both cases replacing the hard drive free of charge
and as soon as they were notified about the problem. I have worked with
Compaq computers for several years and been fairly pleased with the performance.
The 2
people were: my nephew and his wife, and an enginer of my aquantance.
This
is not a panic notice, just information that should be known if you plan
to spend a couple thousand on a setup. The computer can cause problems
for you, but-it appears that the co. will stand behind it.
I love
computers, the new crystal ball of the ages. Hope they solve the milenium
crash prob. coming up-or I will dearly miss 'em.
