CompUSA service????, An oxymoron

 Took Toshiba Laptop in on Nov 24 paid extra for priority service. I called for a follow up 3 days later and was told that it was 7 to 10 days before They could look at it. Told them that I didn't consider that priority service.
 They called back the following afternoon and told me it needed a new mother board.Since I had time sensitive information on the hard drive, I gave them a go ahead. 
 Seven weeks later I am still waiting.Five times they have told me that the part just came in that morning and it would be ready the next day. The latest is that they just ordered the part right from Toshiba instead of their "usual source", whatever that may be.
 I am at the point now that I bought a new laptop and retrieved the information from other sources. The cost of repairs is close to the value of a new unit and I am retired, the fee for filing in small claims court isn't that much so it might be fun just to see how far I can run with this ball.
