Hello,

I read your webpage and I couldn't agree more that Comp USA is a bunch of insensitive blithering idiots!!!
My wife and I took our childrens Hewlett Packard computer there because they were having a huge amount of rebates.
The computer needed another harddrive, and there wasn't enough video ram so we purchased a video card, but, before making the purchase, we inquired as to whether or not it would run on their pc.  Of course the answer was a resounding yes!  Problem!  After installation (which they did), I thought the pc couldn't recognize the new harddrive?  Come to find that the new drive was labeled as the D: drive.  So, what happened to my disk drive?  I don't know?  We had to take it back and guess what, they said it worked fine!  NOT!!!!  The drive didn't work as a matter of fact when we took it back, the technician couldn't even understand how the unit even started up?
That was just the beginning!  Since, we have found that we cannot play any games because the video card is not running the monitor?  The screen goes completely black!  We called upt and they said it took us too long to come back to the store, so now they would have to charge us.  My wife asked for the manager, and he told us to bring it in.  We brought it in and after several days nobody touched the computer, come to find the manager quit!  So, now we have a computer sitting there untouched for at least a week.  After 3 more weeks we called to find out what the problem is now, since nobody there likes to call us, and they told us they were waiting for the warranty papers to come from the manufacturer of the computer?  We told them we didn't buy the computer from them, that they installed some parts and it wasn't functioning!  OH!  Okay, but our tech is out for several days.  It has now been about 6 weeks, the computer is still there and they cannot figure out what the proble!
m is.  They asked us if they can try another video card? We asked them why they didn't try it sooner?  So, that is where we are now.  I wish I could find the name of somebody at the corporate level, but they are too yellow to give that type of info.  I share in your grief, but since they are idiots they seem to be protected pretty well!!!

I will never have any service done there again, nor will I buy from Comp USA again!!!
