4 hours on hold - two lost workorders, laptop stuck in some kind of weird mode to be shipped back to service office but it just can;t seem to go out from the local store..  watched while service desk yanked two other customers around while i stood there and demanded to see manager.

Then the jerk has the nerve to tell me he can't refund my extended worthless warranty cost because the state of wisconsin won't let him.  OH YEAH, ITS THE GOVERNMENTS FAULT.  PRIVATE ENTERPRISE WOULD NEVER SCREW UP LIKE THAT!!!  Unsurprisingly, he is unable to site the state statue that constrains him in this case and when i ask if i can get him on a conference call to a friend of mine in consumer affiars, he doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

Judging from the raps they gave the other relatively untechnical customers and this line he tried on me, i would have to guess that compusa has a training program that upgrades bullshit skills for use on a variety of customers.
